Piggy Smalls hogs the crown in Wacky Pet Names competition

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — One little piggy went all the way home with a new crown!
Following a week of public voting, a local pig from West Palm/Indiantown claimed the top spot in Nationwide's Wacky Pet Names celebration.
Piggy Smalls got the most votes in the exotic category, beating out other standouts such as Audrey Hopburn, Rabbit Downey Jr., Will Ferret, and Birdie Sanders. Doc Pawlliday of Oklahoma won the dogs category, and Prison Mike of Minnesota took home the top prize for cats.

The competition is held each year to honor thoughtfulness and creativity of pet parents, according to a spokesman for Nationwide.
Piggy Smalls and their pet parents each received a professional photo shoot and a $100 gift card.
